Interesting facts

The Sandman traditionally started all his ECW matches by comming out with his Singapore Cane and a lit cigarrette in hand, opening a beer, and chugging it. He was one of the first wrestlers to begin doing this.
The Sandman's nickname in ECW was "The Extreme ICON", a play off of all the ICON talk going on around WCW at the time.
